G'Day all!
As our young people mature and others come to faith, we want to take seriously what we will “pass on” to them. I don’t just mean content (read the Bible and a few good books), but what you and I have found to be essential to living Fully Alive in Jesus - thinking God's thoughts, living like Jesus and walking in the Spirit.
I'd invite you to ask yourself, "What could I take responsibility to pass on to those who follow Jesus after me?"
It's not uncommon for the truths, practices and spiritual capacity we would recommend to others to become, "things of the past", as the distractions of life overwhelm our hearts and lives.
This is where Isaac metaphorically found himself in Genesis 26:18. He had to revisit the old ways to sustain the future God had called him and those he led into.
I encourage you to be willing to, "dig the wells again", that sustained you when you first came to a vibrant, living faith in Jesus Christ! As you discover God's great gifts in your past, re-embrace them and find a way to pass them on to others ("disciple").
Worship Gathering - No Food, Much Joy
Something as old as faith itself is worship! This Sunday we gather at City Life (7 Gregson Place, Caloundra) to share communion, worship and pray together. All are welcome and we'll be taking time to ask God to guide us and speak to us regarding the future God is calling us into.
In an experiment in simplicity, we won't offer any arvo tea this Sunday. Snack beforehand and turn up to connect, worship and pray along with us!

The Blokes, Bonfire and BBQ is on the 10th of May, not the 17th of MAY - two Saturdays from today. Blokes, young and old, are welcome. Bring whatever you want to drink/snack and Jesse + Fam will provide the snags.
Church Constitution - NEXT Sunday 11th May
NEXT Sunday 11th of May members are invited to affirm the adoption of our official church constitution. This is important to stay up to date with government requirements and 'best practice' for a healthy church structure.
Ideally, read the constitution (last week's link was confusing sorry), especially Section #14 which highlights the recommended, future addition of a Governance Group. If you have questions, please just hit REPLY and let me know.
