Jesus replied, “All who love me will do what I say. My Father will love them, and we will come and make our home with each of them."
John 14:23

Ahoy!

I've had a wonderful, muddy, humid and blessed week with Coastal Youth and 400 others at the Qld Baptist State Youth Camp! Given that we were camping we got quite wet!

One of the highlights was observing our young people cherishing the presence of God together. It's a living example of what I spoke about last week - Cherishing the presence of God and those who seek it. Not only did many who prayed, "Come Holy Spirit", experience God in new ways, but many young people who were looking for God came to know and experience for the first time.

It's a joy to see our young people lead by example in actively seeking God!

"For where two or three gather together as my followers, I am there among them."
John 18:20

John 18:20 (above) makes it clear that Jesus not only came to provide open access to God's presence through faith in him but that we could be confident that he is with us when we gather together.

This isn't only when we worship together each month (the next worship gathering is Sunday 4th of Feb!) but each Sunday at the beach.

This Sunday I'd encourage you to not only consider if you have some spiritual encouragement to offer us (a story of celebration, a scripture, prayer or prophetic word) but to consider how you can actively become aware of Jesus' promise to make his home within you.

If he is in you and I by faith, and further promises his presence when we gather, then this Sunday could be just as significant as the last week for our young people.

Cheers, God Bless and cherish God's presence within you,

Dan

God's Plan for Israel - Unity

Coverage of the conflict in Ukraine has dwindled and one day the same will happen with the conflict in Israel and Palestine. Below is a wonderful "bigger picture" on the heartache of war in Israel and Palestine - one day all God's people will be together as one.
