To ensure that any groups are healthy we have listed three very helpful guidelines for any leaders looking to start a group.
1. EASY to join
Groups should be simple and attractive to join. If you have to twist peoples arms to attend, you may consider a different approach. A simple, personal invite followed up with an SMS containing day, time and address could be all you need to get things started.
2. ENJOYABLE to lead
Groups thrive best when their leaders enjoy leading the group. Invite people to your group that you want to spend time with and believe you would enjoy leading. Choose resources (see below) that interest you and you believe would achieve the desired outcomes for the group. Avoid groups or resources that require more time than you're willing or able to provide
3. ALIGNS with the mission of the church
Our church's mission is, to help people find and follow Jesus.
